Located at the gateway of historic Montford, Coleman Place is an Asheville event space that hosts weddings, receptions, corporate and political events, meetings, seminars, reunions, parties and other special events. It is located on the top story of the Chamber building in downtown Asheville. The majestic Blue Ridge mountains are showcased from the west-facing windows. The eastern windows overlook Town Mountain and Montford Avenue. Coleman Place offers abundant, free on-site parking. With easy access to to the interstate, yet centrally located in downtown Asheville, Coleman Place is easily accessible, and conveniently located.

With 4000 square feet of contemporary, open event space, Coleman Place can accommodate groups large and small, from modest, intimate gatherings to elaborate, sizeable events.
The event space rents by the hour; the hourly rate varies according to the date. Rental items such as tables, chairs, linens, china, silverware and glassware are priced individually and separately from the building rate. Coleman Place is comfortable seating up to 200 guests for dinner, or up to 350 with cocktail seating, with room for dancing.
We will customize an estimate for you when you visit Coleman Place for a tour. Your estimate will detail the space rental, and of your rental items. The estimate is flexible, and can be modified to reflect changes made to your event plans up to three days prior to your event.
